Open Access Statement

Brader Journal of Nursing and Midwifery (BJNM) is fully committed to the principles of open science and the democratization of knowledge. In realization of this commitment, BJNM is declared as a full open access journal following the diamond/platinum model. In this capacity, all articles published in BJNM are made freely available to the public immediately upon publication. Readers have the freedom to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of articles without needing prior permission from either the publisher or the authors.

All article content in BJNM is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license to facilitate the legal and responsible reuse of knowledge. This license allows others to remix, adapt, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate attribution is given to the original author(s) and source. Consistent with this principle, authors retain full copyright of their published work and have the freedom to archive both pre-print and post-print versions of their manuscripts across various academic platforms, including personal websites and institutional repositories, without any embargo period.

This open access policy aligns with BJNM's mission to disseminate high-quality research in nursing and midwifery as widely as possible. By eliminating access barriers and costs, we strive to accelerate scientific discoveries, advance global collaboration, and enhance the implementation of evidence-based practice in clinical, educational, and policy contexts. As part of our responsibility to knowledge sustainability, BJNM is also committed to the long-term preservation of digital content through trusted digital archiving and repository systems to ensure the continued accessibility and permanence of scholarly content for future generations.
